We are Dan & Joanna, we love music, we are passionate about it! We have spent our lives living and breathing it. I’ve always loved playing it too, making my own tunes, but Joanna has been dancing on dance floors across the country, name a club from the nineties, and she’s probably been!
So since the work I do is all about visuals and graphics I thought I could create a gift that would remind her of one of those times, on the dance floor, no mobile phone in the air, just enjoying the moment. So I tried recreating a promo poster from the Haçienda, with one of her favourite artists playing, The Stone Roses.
I shared a photo of it, and it seemed to really strike a chord (piano chord!) with people. Then we got to thinking what else could I make…
